2008 First Annual Harvest Festival
What:
La Boca Center For Sustainability is inviting the community to come enjoy a day at the ranch with live music, farm fresh food, a beer and game garden, and horse-drawn hay rides. La Boca farmers will be leading pasture and garden walks, discussing sustainable agriculture practices. Come celebrate the bounty of our land and local production.
When:
Sunday, September 14th from 10 AM to 6 PM
Where:
La Boca Ranch- 7 miles south of Ignacio on highway 172 . Need directions?
Cost:
There will be a $5 requested donation at the door to help raise funds for a root cellar. Farm Food and drinks will also sold.
What to bring:
Feel free to bring camping chairs, picnic blankets, drinking water and of course, a nice big farm hat!

Carl Cordell, Experienced Butcher will demonstrate and teach butcher technique |
| How It Works: |
- Make a reservation to butcher or observe the butchering of grass fed, Chicken, Lamb, and/or Steer.
- Learn & practice butcher cuts, sanitation, drying, aging, & packaging.
- Workshop Cost is $45 - includes breakfast & lunch (livestock sold separately)
